Because
ULSD production requires greater hydrodesulfurization/hydrodenitrification
severity, resulting in increased hydrogen
consumption, more refiners are turning to TapcoEnpro Hydrotreaters
to balance hydrogen levels and manage hydrogen consumption. Solve
your naphtha reformer hydrogen issues while producing higher
quality low-sulfur fuels.
TapcoEnpro Orifice Chambers are typically designed to accommodate
approximately 70% of the total pressure drop, based on the maximum
design flow conditions.
TapcoEnpro has been awarded the manufacture of one of
the largest Hydrotreaters to be built. The heavy wall vessel
will have a shell of 387-GR11 with 347 Stainless Overlay throughout
the entire inside diameter.
Orifice Design Features: |
- Wide range of pressure environments
- Capable of accommodating approximately 70% of the total pressure
drop
- One piece construction, shipping, installation
- Cold and Hot wall construction (see below)
Cold Wall Construction
The refractory is vibracasted to obtain a solid layer
of protection against erosion. The baffles are supported by internal
cones, which provide the transition from hot internal flue gas
to the cold wall shell.
Hot Wall Construction
The refractory is hand-packed in hexmesh to obtain a solid
layer of protection against erosion. The orifices are protected
from the catalyst erosion with TapcoEnpro T-382 or Stellite #6 hardfacing.
